Home Office Updates
Sponsor guidance moves. The duty does not pause.
This is not a newsletter. It is the current basis.
We do not paraphrase unofficial rumours. When a document we rely on is reissued, the version on this page should change, and the tool or guide that uses it should say so. Until then, this is the published basis — not a substitute for it.
- The official source is always GOV.UK — we link it on every card.
- This page lists the versions our tools and guides are written against.
- A new version is not automatically a breach. It is a reason to re-check.
- Sponsoro keeps the rule version with each assessment so history stays explainable.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official Home Office updates feed?
No. It lists the published guidance versions that Sponsoro pages and free tools are currently written against, with links to the official GOV.UK sources. The Home Office remains the authority.
Does a new guidance version mean we are immediately non-compliant?
No. A new version means the published rules have moved. Whether any of your workers are affected depends on salary, hours, occupation, reporting events and evidence — which is why the version has to be attached to the assessment, not just noted in a newsletter.
How does Sponsoro handle a guidance change?
Salary and reporting assessments retain the rule version, effective date, inputs and result. Historical checks stay auditable after the published table changes. New checks run against the version currently configured.
Should I wait for Sponsoro before reading the official guidance?
No. Read the current GOV.UK source first when a change affects a decision you have to make. Use this page to see which Sponsoro tool or guide is written against that document.
Is this immigration advice?
No. It is compliance information about published guidance versions. Individual immigration matters still need an appropriately regulated professional.
Guidance will move again.
Sponsoro stamps each assessment with the rule version that applied, so yesterday's check stays explainable when tomorrow's table arrives.
See how salary, reporting and Right to Work stay attached to the current rules.
No card required.
Always verify the current Home Office source before acting on a specific case. Sponsoro provides compliance information, not regulated immigration advice.
