About Sponsoro

Sponsor compliance should be easier to understand, easier to manage and harder to forget.

Sponsoro was built around a simple problem: UK employers carry significant sponsor responsibilities, but the information needed to manage them is scattered across HR, payroll, spreadsheets, inboxes and document folders — while too much still depends on somebody remembering what needs to happen next.

The rules live somewhere else. The evidence lives somewhere else. We built Sponsoro to connect everyday workforce changes to the sponsorship responsibilities behind them.

Why Sponsoro exists

Most compliance problems don't start with bad intentions.

They start with ordinary operational changes. None of those events necessarily looks dramatic on its own — but when you hold a sponsor licence, small administrative gaps can create much bigger compliance risks.

Everyday triggers

  • A worker moves location
  • Payroll changes
  • Someone's hours are updated
  • A Right to Work follow-up approaches
  • A reporting deadline is missed
  • A key member of staff leaves
  • A document was never saved

What Sponsoro helps organisations understand

  • ✓What changed
  • ✓Why it matters
  • ✓Who needs to act
  • ✓When action is required
  • ✓What evidence supports the decision
  • ✓What happened afterwards

Sponsoro connects those everyday events to the sponsorship responsibilities behind them.

Why we built Sponsoro

From workforce change to accountable compliance.

Instead of simply storing information, Sponsoro helps teams understand the sponsorship impact of what happens across the organisation — then assign action and retain the proof.

More than another dashboard

Compliance should be explainable. Not a black box.

We don't believe employers need another system full of red, amber and green indicators with no explanation behind them. If Sponsoro flags something, the organisation should be able to understand why.

The event

What changed.

The applicable rule

What requirement is relevant.

The data

Which worker, salary, CoS, document or organisation record was assessed.

The reasoning

Why the issue was raised.

The evidence

What supports the position.

The action

What needs to happen next.

Built around continuous compliance

Make compliance part of everyday operations — not only something you do before a visit.

Traditional sponsor compliance can become reactive: run an audit, find the gaps, fix them, repeat months later. Sponsoro is designed around a different model.

01

Detect

Identify relevant changes.

02

Understand

Determine their potential sponsorship impact.

03

Act

Give the right person a clear next step.

04

Prove

Keep the evidence and history behind the action.

05

Monitor

Continue watching as the organisation changes.

Your existing systems still have a job

Sponsoro focuses on the sponsorship consequences of what happens inside them.

Sponsoro isn't trying to become your entire HR technology stack. Your HR system should manage people. Your payroll system should calculate pay. Your document system should store files.

Payroll

Your system tells you

“What did we pay?”

Sponsoro helps answer

“Does that create a sponsorship compliance issue?”

HR

Your system tells you

“What changed?”

Sponsoro helps answer

“Does this require compliance action?”

Document storage

Your system tells you

“We have a file.”

Sponsoro helps answer

“What does this evidence support, and is anything missing?”

Built for the people responsible

Designed for the teams carrying real sponsor responsibility.

HR teams

Manage sponsored workers and day-to-day compliance actions.

Compliance teams

See risks, evidence gaps and unresolved workflows.

Authorising Officers

Get organisation-level oversight without rebuilding the picture manually.

Payroll teams

Identify sponsored-worker salary issues before payroll becomes a compliance problem.

Operational managers

Capture workforce changes while compliance remains centrally controlled.

Immigration advisers and partners

Work with organisations that already have clearer records, evidence and compliance history.

Software, not immigration advice

This distinction matters to us.

Sponsoro is built to help organisations manage operational sponsor compliance. It can explain rules, identify potential issues, organise evidence and support structured decision-making — but software should not pretend to replace regulated professional judgement.

Better software should help you know when you need an expert, not pretend you never do.

Where a situation moves into individual immigration advice or requires specialist interpretation, Sponsoro is designed to make that boundary clear.

Operational compliance support — with honest limits.

Evidence matters

Being compliant and being able to demonstrate compliance are closely connected.

That's why Sponsoro doesn't treat evidence as an afterthought. Worker records, Right to Work checks, salary assessments, recruitment evidence, reporting actions and compliance decisions can remain connected to the history behind them.

When someone asks “Why did you make this decision?” the answer isn't buried in one person's memory.

Our product principles

How we think about building compliance software.

Explain, don't just alert.

A warning without reasoning creates more work.

Detect problems early.

Finding an issue before payroll or before a deadline is more valuable than identifying it afterwards.

Keep humans in control.

Important compliance actions should remain reviewable and accountable.

Preserve the evidence.

A decision without its supporting record is harder to defend later.

Be honest about uncertainty.

If Sponsoro cannot reliably determine an answer, it should say so.

Build around real workflows.

Compliance software should help teams complete work, not simply measure it.

Where we're going

Sponsor compliance software should eventually become almost invisible.

Changes happen naturally across the organisation. The compliance layer understands them. The right person is alerted. The evidence is retained. The action is completed. Leadership can see the position. And the organisation doesn't need to reconstruct everything when someone asks questions months later.

That's what we're building with Sponsoro — a compliance intelligence layer for organisations that sponsor workers.

Make sponsor compliance easier to run.

See what needs attention. Understand why. Take action. Keep the proof.

No card required.
